Ukrainians are urged to abandon childish behavior
During the action all participants will receive baby pacifiers which can be exchanged for a rapid HIV test directly on the venue. In such way the organizers want to encouraged the participants of the event to change the "childish" behavior and start act like adults when in comes to their health and HIV status awareness.
Today, every second HIV-infected Ukrainian is unaware of his/her status. More than 50% of HIV patients over the age of 15 are identified for the first time in the 3rd and 4th clinical stages of HIV infection when the health condition is already unsatisfactory. Timely testing can fix this situation and save lives.
In 2019 more than one million rapid HIV tests will be delivered to Ukraine. From now on you can request this test from your family doctor or visit mobile or in-patient testing sites to get tested. To evaluate the risks of infection and find the nearest testing site you can use the innovative HIV TEST application developed by the CO "100% Life". Another innovation - an oral test for HIV that allows you to detect the presence of a virus with the help of a saliva sample - is available at the medical center "100% Life" ( 87A Mezhygirska str).
