All informational products broadcasted on the air of M1 channel during that day, can be divided into two types. The first one is a serious reference to the audience that contrasts with music-entertainment programs on the channel. It is intended to catch attention of the target audience, to induce it to think about AIDS. For example, the data displaying the pace of HIV epidemics worldwide. According to the WHO/UNAIDS experts more than 39,4 million people are living with HIV/AIDS worldwide, and every 10 seconds this number adds 1 more person. The second type of the informational materials is stylish video made in youth style. They are directed on the problem dramatization and on stimulation of safe behavior.

During the day specially prepared show business news concerning the World AIDS Day celebration was broadcasting. From 15.00 p.m. till 17.00 p.m. there was a program “Horoshow” on the air, devoted to the HIV/AIDS problem. Each spectator who called in studio and correctly answered the question about HIV/AIDS, received gifts with the channel symbols and ordered a song.
