Elena Pinchuk

In 2003 Elena Pinchuk founded the first and the only charity established with private funds and aiming at fighting against the AIDS epidemic in Ukraine. The main areas of focus are the fight against HIV/AIDS and a healthy lifestyle; mentorial and educational projects aimed at young girls and women; attracting the best international experience in the humanitarian sphere to Ukraine. As Chairwoman of Foundation Mrs. Pinchuk initiated joint projects with such organizations as Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative, Elton John AIDS Foundation, Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Mercury Phoenix Trust and Miss World Organization.
